Michael graduated in 1990 with a Sports Studies degree, followed by a first class honours Physiotherapy degree in 1996 from Brunel University. He completed a postgraduate diploma in Neuromusculoskeletal Healthcare at Keele University in 2010.

Over the past fifteen years, Michael has specialised in lower limb rehabilitation combining clinical research at The University of Warwick and a clinical role with innovative knee surgeons at University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire. More recently, he has contributed to published research on knee surgery outcomes.

He has regularly rehabilitated clients following injury or surgery, but in particular lower limb such as knee replacement, ligament reconstruction, cartilage repair and meniscal transplant. Michael has a particular interest in return to sport, whether recreational or elite, and has worked with elite performers including judo players, tri-athletes, hockey and rugby players.

Golf and skiing are Michael’s passion with fitness maintained by cycling road and mountain bikes; he recently completed the King of the Downs 115 mile sportive.
