Jodie trained at the University of the West of England graduating in 2007 and has been a specialist in women's health physiotherapy for the past 8 years.  As well as working for Synergy she also works for the NHS.

Jodie is passionate about women's health and ensures all of her patient's achieve their best possible outcomes. She provides thorough assessment, accurate diagnosis and discusses the best possible treatment plan in collaboration with her patients to ensure it is best fit for them and their goals. She spends time to teach all of her patient's about their condition and treatment as this enhanced understanding assists with long term recovery and management. She always ensures an empathetic approach to what can be difficult conditions to discuss.

Jodie treats antenatal and postnatal patients with musculoskeletal conditions such as pelvic and back pain. She teaches core strengthening exercises during pregnancy and tailors these to meet individual patient needs.

Jodie specialises in the assessment and treatment of urogynaecological conditions including but not limited to:

  • Urinary incontinence
  • Urinary urgency or frequency
  • Pelvic organ prolapse
  • Postnatal pelvic floor weakness

  • Sexual pain
  • Third and fourth degree tears after childbirth
