Our admin staff spend a lot of time listening to feedback and working out how to make coming to see us as uncomplicated as possible. We even have our very own administration pathway that shows how we look after you before, during and after the actual treatment!

When you call or email to book an appointment, we will ask you a few questions. This is so we can understand the nature of your injury and any surgery you have so we can make sure you see the correct Physio for the injury. Once you make an appointment with Synergy, you will be allocated a Physio with specific expertise for your particular problem.

We have three dedicated private, sound-proofed consulting rooms. Your initial assessment will last 45 minutes and the Physio will make a comprehensive assessment of your unique situation. This will include analysis of your biomechanics, aspects of your lifestyle or sporting techniques that may contribute to your symptoms and review of any x-rays or scans you may have had. The Physio will then be in a position to clearly explain, with the aid of models and diagrams, exactly what your problem is.

Educate & Rehabilitate

We believe that giving the patient a full understanding of their condition is an important first step to educate and motivate you for your rehabilitation. This also allows us to put in perspective the bespoke treatment programme our Physios choose for you. This programme will also be explained in full so you are clear about the techniques we will use and what you should expect.
These techniques may include the use of specialist medical equipment in the consulting rooms or the resistance equipment in the studio. You may also be given a training programme to complete between your treatments. If this is required, your Physio will demonstrate the exact exercises you need and provide you with a written treatment plan.

Treatment

If your condition needs further consultation or surgery, we will put you in contact with leading specialists in the area. We have access to a 24 hour service provided by orthopaedic consultants. Our physios in Woking have strong working relationships with consultants in Surrey from both their NHS and private medical careers and will therefore advise you who the right person to see is.

Please be prepared to remove outer clothing and change into shorts and T-shirt so that your physio has the optimum chance to observe and treat your problem. This would be particularly helpful for any lower back, hip, knee or pelvic conditions and for ladies with upper torso injuries.
