Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist
Nikki completed her B.Sc (Hons) Physiotherapy from Delhi University (India) and worked in government and private settings in various specialities.
She completed her M.Sc Physiotherapy from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh in 2006 and worked in Glasgow before moving to Birmingham where she worked for the Pain team in the community. She has not looked back since. She currently works as a Senior Physiotherapist at Frimley Park Hospital and private clinic in Surrey, and sees various acute/ chronic and complex musculoskeletal conditions (Chronic Pain, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Polyarthalgia).
She has worked closely with various Consultants, Physiotherapists and Psychologists and uses the biopsychosocial approach in the management of patients with complex conditions. Her approach is holistic with an emphasis on education of the condition, self management strategies in the long run to improve their quality of life. She uses various manual therapy techniques, electrotherapy, exercise therapy, relaxation and mindfulness techniques in the treatment and management of her patients.
