Baby and Post Natal Yoga

Yoga has always been really big part of my life but as a new mum it has taken a very different turn and been an important element of birth preparation, my own postnatal recovery and bonding with the new bundle of joy in my life. 

My journey into yoga began with Freestyle Fitness yoga, Sun Power Yoga, hot yoga and a strong vinyassa / ashtanga approach and I have been teaching this since 2013. Then in 2016, when I became pregnant and could no longer teach my weekly hot yoga classes I took a number of specialist teacher trainings to develop my knowledge and begin this journey into a very restorative and nurturing style of yoga that you will find on this website.

 

You will notice that I specialise in Yoga Nidra meditation (guided relaxation), gentle yoga, Restorative Yoga and Yin yoga. These techniques and practices have many applications including:

 

- dealing with stress

- reducing anxiety

- people having problems sleeping

- pregnancy and birth preparation

- postnatal recovery

- general mental wellness
